  • Jake is on the mend.  He still has to stay home and is going crazy, he wants to have some playdates with his friends.  I may venture out with him a bit tomorrow but don't want to over do it.  I have done lots of projects, school work, watched lots of movies and played trains with him, so has Bob.  Our goal is to keep him calm and not to active because that gets the cough going.  It still is there, but we are not hearing it as much and last night he slept very well, so we will see how tomorrow goes before we do anything.  He must be well before Grandma comes.  Here are the pictures I promised, a day late but hey, I have been busy.

Here is the finished Gingerbread house:

I think Bob and Jake did a great job.

Here is the outside of our house with the lights on.  Our neighborhood is having a light contest, free Homeowner dues for a year.  We won't win because you should see some of the houses...people went all out.

Here is our tree all lit up.  You can kinda see it through our front door.

  • Lovely pics thanks for sharing.  So glad to hear Jake is on the mend.  It is all going to work out.  Your house is lovely.  We haven't done a gingerbread house yet this year. Lily keeps asking.  Maybe next week when she is out of school. Merry Christmas.

  • :goodjob:The house looks great. I'm glad Jake is feeling better. The boys did a great job on the Gingerbread house. I'll keep my fingers crossed that all will be well by the time your Mom arrives. Merry Christmas!!! (The inside pictures you sent the other day were great too!)
